FAQs: Before You Book

Before you book a reservation, please make sure you're in the know!

Is "High Tea" a one-person order?
  • We offer a per-person Prix Fixe high tea menu uniquely inspired by four regional cuisines.
  • While enjoying High Tea with others is a shared experience (that we highly recommend!), an actual order of a "high tea" is for one person to enjoy.
  • There is no pressure to have the same high tea as your companion... each guest orders the high tea they want.
  • Food is presented on our three-tier trays and includes savory tea sandwiches, baked goods, and desserts.
  • Each of the three plates can be refilled once.
  • Food must be consumed on the premises.
  • We do not provide to-go boxes for leftovers. This policy safeguards our guests' health and safety.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Reservations are required for high tea. The tea salon is often fully booked over weekends, so please make reservations well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Keep in mind that we are a fine-dining salon de thé serving high tea. Everything about our tea salon, from the white tablecloths and golden napkin rings to the elaborate three-tier tea tray and fine bone china, creates an elegant atmosphere for refined enjoyment.
While we accommodate walk-ins for a pot of tea on quiet weekdays, subject to availability, we are not set up for a walk-in café experience.
Is there a limit to my party size?

Our main dining area has limited space and is intended for intimate dining experiences, therefore parties are limited to a maximum of 6 people.

Please provide 48 hours notice when canceling your reservation.

What about larger groups?
Our elegant and cozy semi-private dining area can accommodate parties of 7 - 12 people. The room rate is $60 per reservation and a 50% deposit is required with the reservation.
  • High Tea is preordered and restricted to two high tea menu options.
  • We request that parties adhere to a 2-hour timeslot.
  • The room can be reserved at 11 am, 1:30 pm, and 4 pm.
  • 5-day notice is required for large group cancellations.

Can I bring children to High Tea?
Unfortunately, our salon de thé is not suitable for children's parties or parties with small children. The salon is decorated with grownups in mind and is rife with potential calamity. We serve tea in fine china cups and handblown glass teapots. Our crisp tablecloths, light carpet, and wallpaper murals are a poor match for spills -- you get the picture. For that reason, we adhere to a 10+ policy.
  • We do not have any high chairs or children's menus.
  • We do not accommodate small appetites with meal sharing.
Please do not include children under 10 in reservations unless you have made prior arrangements with management.
Can I book a private event?
Yes! The tea salon, a perfect setting for small, elegant celebrations, is available for private events with 24 to 40 guests.
  • The venue rental fee is $1800 for a 4-hour high tea event.
  • Select Thé du Jour for a morning tea beginning at 11 AM or Soiree de Thé for a late tea beginning at 4 PM. High tea is charged per person.
  • To secure the event date, a deposit of 50% of the total cost is required. The deposit can be refunded up to three weeks before the event.
  • We recommend planning at least 8 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.

for high tea!

In order to provide the very best experience, we are only able to provide "High Tea" service to those who have made a reservation prior to their visit. 

We do, however, occasionally have a few spots available for a walk-in "Light Tea" (see menu) Thursday & Friday, but this depends entirely on the day's reservations. 

For best results, please give us a call ahead of time and we can discuss the day's options.
