No, we didn't open our tea room until September 2024. But my tea-story started decades ago,
when I first tasted tea in my childhood home as part of an English South African tradition. That was the foundation.
From there, it was simply a matter of steps through time that eventually led me to this moment: My very own Salon de Thé.
Fell in love with la Tour Eiffel. We had the most memorable (and expensive) mug of hot chocolate and pain au chocolat at the cafe on Level 1.
Relocated from Johannesburg, South Africa, to Buckinghamshire, England. Soon had the pleasure of experiencing Afternoon Tea at the Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington
Relocated from England to the cozy town of Elsah, Illinois.
We purchased a home in downtown St. Louis, in a neighborhood we absolutely love!
Had the pleasure of attending my dear friend's traditional Hindu wedding in Rajasthan, India.
To celebrate my love of tea, I hosted a Birthday Tea Party to share my special day and my love for tea with friends and loved ones.
In order to provide the very best experience, we are only able to provide "High Tea" service to those who have made a reservation prior to their visit.
You are, however, always welcome to stop by without reservations for a "Light Tea"! (See menu for details)
By yourself, or with friends -- either way, we look forward to serving you!
